“Most of the journalists thought he was absolutely justified in attacking me.”

On this episode we sit down with the iconic Katherine Switzer, the first woman to enter and run the coveted Boston Marathon. For 70 years, the Boston Marathon only accepted men…Katherine changed this on Patriots’ Day in 1967 by having the courage to enter the course and run the 26.2 miles, paving the way for all future female athletes. She sits down with Sean Corvelle to tell the incredible story and how she’s still paving the way for female athletes around the world.

You can find more about Kathrine here.
