For many a Mudder Funky Monkey – The Revolution is still a challenge unbeaten. From a distance it looks almost easy, we all played on monkey bars as a kid right?

Unfortunately the reality isn’t so simple. Conquering this obstacle requires great upper body strength, enough to pull your entire weight up, up and across the bars and over the wheels as they turn and jerk, attempting to throw you into the water below.

Training your upper body can often seem like a daunting task, but if you start small and work hard regularly, you can boost your beefiness to new levels.

Remember Mudders, while it is good to push yourself and see progress, make sure you stop any exercise if you feel uncomfortable or in pain.
